Get to knOw me, your photographer
I am so excited that we are at point right now. Looking at my investment guide means that you loved my work enough to reach out, and you're wanting to have an amazing experience with your family.
I developed my photographic art completely surrounding one thing: authentic emotion. Real people, real families, and the way they really interact. You deserve to hold these precious early years for a lifetime. And my goal is for you to look at the photographs I create, and truly feel your child’s embrace and hear their sweet little giggle. Being a mama is hard. There are long days (and nights), lonely seasons, doubt, and complete mess. But that is the beauty of motherhood. I want to embrace the crazy, silly love that you share, so you have it to hold on to for a lifetime.
My work has been seen in places like The Kindred Path, The Carolinas Magazine, Southern Motherhood Magazine, Popsugar and many other leading industry publications. I'm sincerely grateful for every single one of them, and for the others yet to come.
I want you to have those same heirloom photographs that illicit authentic emotion every time you look at them. I cannot wait to get to know you and your family more!
The experience you have during your portrait session means everything. And when booking me as your photographer, I feel that quality should be equally as paramount as the experience when working together.
I want you and your family to be smiling, laughing, and feeling at ease throughout the entire process. I want you to trust in me 100%, and I want us to be friends. I'll be having a blast right along with you!
The experience is so important for personal reasons as well. After all, children really do grow so fast. These moments with them are fleeting. I want you to remember the way they laughed, danced, and wrapped their little arms around you. I want you to remember those newborn days.
To look at these images even decades later and be able to remember those little noises, the way they yawned, and how it felt to hold them. So, hiring a photographer who has not only the style of photography you are wanting to cherish forever, but also a fun, outgoing attitude is so important - and that's exactly what you get with me.

"Elly was so relaxed and confident. She made our family feel so at ease while taking our pictures. She really captured us being ourselves. I am so grateful these beautiful moments were captured. They are priceless!"
Elly was so relaxed & confident. She made our family feel at ease
She made my maternity photoshoot dreams a reality. Elly found multiple locations to capture the aesthetic I wanted. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera, I cant wait to use her again in the future!
Elly is my favorite photographer to use in Greenville South Carolina!
Our son is usually shy in front of the camera and she put him and I at ease. She got our photos back to us so fast and they came out AMAZING!!! She had a clear vision and style for the shoot and the location was absolutely beautiful. This was our first family session and we are so happy we went with Elly!
Elly did an amazing job at our shoot and kept our son and daughter engaged and excited the entire time.
Elly was a delight to work with. The photos she took was stunning. I will say the best part of working with her was how patient she was with my rowdy 2 year old and my husband’s dad jokes. I was absolutely recommended her to anyone.

Elly did an amazing job with our family photos! She is great with kids and was able to work magic capturing great photos of my toddlers. She also did a great job capturing beautiful pictures of my 4 day old baby! I would absolutely recommend her!!

She gave great direction and wonderful in-action photos. I have three kids all young and one is a toddler and she handled all of them wonderfully. I would totally recommend her for any sessions!
We had family pictures taken by Elly and it was such a wonderful experience and beautiful pictures!

Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked
Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: I first picked up a camera seriously when I was in college ,and I fell in love with documenting moments and life's story as I traveled around with my husband. But it wasn't until I graduated with my Bachelors of Business that I took it on as a full-time career as a portrait photographer. So, we're talking 10+ years now as a professional. Man, now I feel old. Haha!
Q: How long will our session be?
A: Our session can be anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours. I know that seems strange, but when photographing famlies and newborns, we are all on their time! Sometimes it takes 30 minutes just for the kiddos to warm up to being in front of the camera, sometimes they have a blast in the beginning and are suuuper over it within 45 minutes. With newborns, it is even more unpredictable! Between being fed, diaper changes, and falling asleep, there is no way to know how long the session will last. My job is to capture your family in a beautiful and natural way, and putting a limit on that doesn't provide you with that service. With that said, Most families need about 1 hour to get alllll those good images. There are exceptions to that though!
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: This might start getting a bit technical, but I personally use two Nikon D850s with a 24mm, 50mm, 85mm, 70-200mm and 300mm lenses. Both are literally on me at all times throughout your wedding day so I never have to worry about changing lenses, switching memory cards, or changing batteries. Every moment matters - and this is where the 8+ years of experience really kicks in.
Q: When do I need to book my maternity session?
A: Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 29-34 weeks of pregnancy. If this is your first pregnancy, we would typically be on the later end of that timeframe. This is the "sweet spot" where you have a nice round baby bump, but your not too far along and feeling uncomfortable (for the most part!)
Q: What happens if rain is in the forecast for our family session?
I know that schedules can be a bit tricky to line up so we are all available for your families session and rain would seriously dampen the investment you were so excited about. When you book your family session, we will actually schedule 2 dates. One as the backup in case of rain. If weather looks to be inclement the day of your session, we will make that call and switch to the second date. Usually a few clouds and a little rain is nothing to worry about - it's the monsoons that will be a problem. I have never had to schedule a 3rd session, so this system works!
Q: How do I book you?
A: Love that question the most! To book me for your newborn or family session, simply let me know what you want included in your custom collection: 1) Kind of session you would like to book 2) Digital File Packages (optional), 3) Prints or none (optional), and 4) What payment plan option works best for you.
